We do this by designing fashion forward womens activewear that intentionally moves with you from the barre room, to the board room. Made with luxe performance fabrics that are comfortably soft, wicks sweat and keeps you cool, our versatile activewear designs are created to keep you moving, in the studio and in life.

We are known for elevating women’s activewear with fashion forward designs in thoughtful and flattering colours that takes you from barre to bar. Simply pair our activewear designs with your favourite accessories and you’re ready to take on the day.
Why was cheak started?
cheak started in 2020, previously under the name butter.,with a desire to elevate the activewear scene in Singapore. Women’s activewear used to be very basic and we believe activewear is no longer limited to your gym class, but a wardrobe essential that you can wear for anything from yoga class to brunch with friends and casual work from office days. Our range of women’s activewear products has grown from minimalistic leggings with no front seams, to supportive sports bras and even key athleisure pieces like tennis skirts and unitard. Whilst our name has changed, we remain committed to continuing to design stylish and supportive activewear that moves with you and makes you feel your best.
Finding the Right Fabric: A Guide to Choosing Activewear
The first step to finding the right activewear for you is understanding our different fabrics: BaseCore, and BaseFlex. For high intensity sports like running and spinning, we recommend our signature fabric BaseCore that is sweat wicking and compressive to support you through high impact movements and to stay dry during your workouts. BaseFlex has a buttery soft and luxurious touch and feels like a hug when you wear it. This fabric is suitable for low intensity activities such as yoga and pilates.
